We have some very happy bettas at our house tonight. Blueberry was upgraded to a nice new 2.5 gallon tank. All to himself. He doesnt know what to do with all the space! This will still need 100% water changes, about once a week. That is lots better than every other day, which it was with his 1/2 gallon bowl. Here is a pic of him in his new home.


I mentioned a few posts ago that I had been making a divider for the 10 gallon tank. Its made out of plastic canvas and plastic binder spines and zip ties. It was actually very easy and probably cost less than $5 to make. And it fits great!! We set it all up tonight, here are two pics from the set up process.





We stirred up a lot of crud, so we let the filter run for a while before adding the bettas. Then we added Banana first. He loved all the space and then we added Raspberry. He loved it too. Here are some pics of them checking out their new place.
















It was quite a process, but Im pleased with the results! My betta boys seem very happy with the new arrangements!
