Well, today has been a stay-at-home day. We've been cleaning some, we are still trying to re-organize from all the things we had on vacation. Our spare bedroom looks like a tornado hit, so Eric is up there now. There is quite a bit of thumping, so i hope things are looking better than they did. :)
We decided that Blueberry was a good name for our new betta. I may get him a bigger bowl, but at the moment his is pretty content. I suppose his bowl now is bigger than any accommodations he has had in his life so far. Bettas are never treated right at the petstores. The can't live in those little cups, and if the water is blue, that means it has been medicated because they don't change the water in the cups often enough to keep the bettas healthy. Bettas need 100% water changes every few days, and the smaller the container, the more frequent the changes need to be.
Our local pet store is closing, sadly, and this has made for a slight problem. We have 12 baby guppies that now have no place to go. The local pet store usually bought the guppies from us. The guppies are still small now, but we don't have enough space for them when they are full-grown.
Eric and I have been playing a game called Rummikub. It is lots of fun. I've played this game since I was young, but it is new to Eric. When we were in Illinois, Mom, Eric and I played Rummikub lots. It was the first time he had ever seen it. We enjoyed it so much that Mom gave us our own copy, and we have been enjoying it since we have been home.
Well, I have laundry to fold and other important things to do!
