Well, I started Occupational Therapy for my left hand this week. So far so good. It makes my hand sore, but I would say we are making progress already. We did the parafin therapy yesterday. Eric used to have that on his hand every week. You dip your hand in a big thing of hot melted wax. It makes a 'glove' of wax on your hand and then they wrap it with a plastic bag and a towel. Then you sit for 15 mintues and let the heat loosen the muscles and things in your hand. When the 15 minutes is up, you peel off the wax and then the therapy 'games' begin.
It has been really good to see all our friends at therapy. They are all great and I've missed them.
I baked a carrot cake over the weekend, last weekend, and took it to share with the people at therapy on Monday. It was a hit.
We had our friend Joanna over for supper last night. I made 5 cheese ravioli and red sauce. Also some buttery garlic bread. I had some nice grapes and made some strawberry fruit dip to go with them. Joanna brought ice cream for dessert, for which Eric made some Heavenly Hot Fudge. Joanna also brought two chocolate easter bunnies! Whoo Hooo! Chocolate! We had lots of fun, but my kitchen looks like a disaster hit. :)
Eric is at a school talk right now, an after-school program of some sort.
We are still waiting for new on the birth of our newest neice. She is due tomorrow. We are all on pins and needles. Wish Eric and I could be there in person. We are going for a visit in April though, so we will get to cuddle and spoil the new addition, Abigail Nicole, then. We are also planning some special bonding time with our other two neices, Caroline who is almost 8 (the big sister to be), and Alana who is 2 1/2. We miss them both.
