Yesterday was a busy day, although, at the moment I can't remember why. Oh well!
Today I have mountains of laundry to do. The dryer is actually fixed now, and i even have dried two loads without it overheating. So we hope all is now well. I probably have at least 4 or 5 more loads to do. Nearly three weeks worth of dirty clothes.
We are having company over tonight. They got new weather equipment at WLBT, and the company that makes it sent a guy to train Eric and his co-workers on how to use it. His name is Jesse, and he has been here before, so it is nice to see him again. The company that makes the weather computers gives him money to take clients out for dinner, so we went to supper on Monday night. It was fun. He mentioned that he gets sick of take out and fast food, because he spends so much of his time traveling to different parts of the country training people on the weather systems. So I got to thinking, and invited him for supper tonight. I made chili soup over the weekend, and there is plenty. He was tickled, I think, to be invited. Eric is working the evening shows today and tomorrow for Barbie. She has a funeral out of town to go to. So Eric and Jesse should be home for supper around 7pm. I have some cleaning to do and the table to clear off. Why is it that the dining table does little more than collect mail and anything else that wanders by? :)
