I had a nice summer cold early this week. What fun! NOT. I looked like rudolph for a day or two, but that is better now and Im feeling better. Actually started feeling better Wednesday.
In fact I did some baking on Wednesday. I had promised the people at the station some sweets. So I made some double fudge brownies with a peanut butter drizzle on top. And I also made a Key Lime Pie. I have never made a Key Lime Pie before, but it wasnt that hard actually.

Eric squeezed four fresh limes for me and I added another 2oz of lime juice from a squeeze bottle. The green color is from food coloring, otherwise it would be a yellowy color since the main ingredients are sweetened condensed milk and egg yolks. :)
The topping is, of course, cool whip. In this case French Vanilla cool whip, and it is very delicious!!! For not knowing what I was doing, it turned out very tasty. I can't wait to hear what the people at the station think!

We are heading to Virginia on Monday, and my betta, Blueberry is going with us again. He is such a seasoned traveler by now.
I did get the divider finished for the ten gallon tank, and he will eventually move in there, but not before this vacation. He is a good traveler and Eric's mom will be glad to see him I know. :)
