Wow, its been a while since I last blogged! My word. Anyway, the house was fixed promptly, and it looks like nothing was ever wrong, so the contractor did a great job. Our landlord was sure on top of things, and for that I was grateful.

My mom came for a visit last week. She drove all the way by herself and she did great. She went to work with my twice and we had such fun with the kids! Her visit was unfortunately cut a bit short. My dad lost his job due to lay-offs with his company, and Mom felt like she was needed at home. She left two days earlier than planned. We were sad to see her go, and it is so frustraighting for my parents to have this happen. God knows what will happen and he promises that all things work for our good, but it can be so hard to see that at times like this.
